Canada goes through tons of plastic waste but there is hope. Canadians are one step closer by implementing a ban on harmful single-use items.

Plastic does not belong in landfills. There are many reasons why this is hte case. Harmful chemicals can create fires from toxic fumes being released from garbage at landfill sites, garbage can pile up affecting wildlife and people living nearby.

Recycling helps to reduce the polution caused by waste, and it reduces the need for raw materials while protecting earth's limited resources.
Recycling turns used materials that are labeled as recyclable to reprocesses for a new purpose. Turning the recyclable item into a raw form allows it to be turned into a new product. Every day we use a variety of products in our lives to fulfill basic needs. Most of these products are wasted, dumped in bins and end up at a landfill site.

Canadian Recycling

In Canada, there is concern that Canadian landfills are reaching capacity and it is becoming difficult to find sites for new ones. In 2004 a Waste Management Survey showed that Canadian households produce 12.4 million tonnes of waste, and 73% of this was sent for disposal while the 27% was recycled.

As a company we are working to change these odds, we deal domestically only and make new products out of recycled plastics.

We buy scrap plastic to make new products AND they are 100% MADE IN CANADA out of 100% RECYCLED PLASTICS.

Accountability? We also have a BUYBACK program on our products should they no longer be needed we take them back to recycle again.

The Three R's of Sustainability

Reduce-Avoid excessive individually wrapped items, single serve products, bring your own bags to the store, and reduce the amount of waste going to landfill.

Recycle-Many things we use everyday can be recycled into something new. Paper bags, soda cans, milk jugs, recyclable things are around you everyday.

Reuse-Instead of throwing things away, try to find ways to reuse them.
