Every November 1st men take on a challenge of not shaving their facial hair for a whole entire month, donating their money, and shining a light onto men's health related issues. Internationally known as Movember, created by the Movember Foundation. Their unique, and inspiring story has driven us to want to share the adventure of their success.

Movember is a once a year occasion. Where men, and woman, can support, and raise awareness for mens health issues, serving health conditions such as; Prostate Cancer, Testicular Cancer, Men's Mental Health, and Suicide prevention.

The Movember idea sparked in 2003 by two men sitting in a bar called "Gypsy" in Fitzony, Australia. They took on a team of 30 men who were willing to grow out their facial hair, and set the trend for fall fashion. During that year, they raised $0. Full Story Here

One year later, 2004 in Australia the inspiring facial hair trend took on a supporting team of 480 people, in which they came up with the nickname "Mo Bro's, and Mo Sista's." for their supporters. Adam Garone registered the Movember Foundation, and created their own website. www.movember.com They were able to raise a CAD of $40,851, beginning to fund 6 men's health projects. The raised amount went to the Prostate Cancer Foundation of Australia. In which, at the time the Movember donation was the largest the PCFA has ever received.
